Plant Description

Acacia dealbata, commonly known as the Silver Wattle or Mimosa, is a fast-growing evergreen tree native to Australia, prized for its feathery, silvery-blue bipinnate leaves and bright yellow, fragrant flowers. At the 20-30 cm size, this young tree is already beginning to show its distinctive, finely divided foliage. In late winter to early spring, it will produce dense clusters of small, fluffy yellow flower heads that are a source of nectar for pollinators. Acacia dealbata is highly valued for its ornamental appeal and is often used in landscaping for its attractive foliage and vibrant blooms.
