Abromeitiella brevifolia
Abromeitiella brevifolia
Plant Description
Abromeitiella brevifolia, commonly known as Silver Cushion, is a fascinating, slow-growing succulent from the high-altitude regions of Argentina. This dwarf, mat-forming plant creates dense cushions of tiny, spiky grey-green rosettes, each composed of stiff, pointed leaves. The compact nature of this plant allows it to form intricate, almost impenetrable mounds. In summer, it produces small, tubular greenish-yellow flowers that emerge from the center of the rosettes. Abromeitiella brevifolia is highly drought-tolerant and well-suited for rock gardens, containers, or as a ground cover in xeriscaping.
