Abies procera form ‘glauca’
Plant Description
The blue noble fir or Abies procera forma glauca is a magnificent evergreen conifer prized for its vibrant, silvery-blue needles and symmetrical growth habit. Growing in a pyramidal form, it can reach heights of 15–30 meters (50–100 feet). The stiff, upward-curving branches give the tree a stately appearance. Its cones are large, cylindrical, and upright, transitioning from green to purplish-brown as they mature. Known for its striking blue needles and cold tolerance, this tree is a showstopper in landscapes or as a living Christmas tree.
