Abies nordmanniana, commonly known as the Nordmann Fir, is a majestic evergreen tree highly valued for its symmetrical shape, dense foliage, and excellent needle retention. Native to the Caucasus region, this conifer can reach heights of up to 60 meters in its natural habitat. It features soft, glossy dark green needles with silvery undersides, arranged in a spiral pattern around the branches. The tree produces large, upright cones that are green when young, maturing to brown. The Nordmann Fir is often used as a Christmas tree due to its attractive form and longevity indoors.
