Product Description

Stetsonia coryne, commonly known as the Argentine Toothpick Cactus or Candle Cactus, is a large, columnar cactus species native to the dry regions of Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay. It can grow into a tree-like cactus, reaching heights of up to 33 feet (10 meters) over time. The green, ribbed stems are covered in clusters of long, sharp spines resembling toothpicks. When grown from seeds, Stetsonia coryne develops slowly but eventually forms a tall, striking structure. In maturity, it produces large, white, nocturnal flowers followed by edible, spiny fruits. This robust, heat-tolerant cactus thrives in hot, dry environments and is ideal for desert landscaping.
