Pyrrhocactus vertongenii SUPER GREY K2K
Product Description
Pyrrhocactus vertongenii, also known as Eriosyce vertongenii, is a small, globular cactus native to the arid regions of Argentina. This variety, often referred to as “Super Grey,” is distinguished by its greyish-green stem, which can appear almost silvery due to a fine covering of woolly areoles. The cactus features prominent ribs and tubercles, with spines that are straight, stiff, and typically yellow to brown. It produces funnel-shaped flowers that are bright yellow, emerging from the apex. Pyrrhocactus vertongenii thrives in well-draining, sandy to rocky soils and requires full sun.
