Plant Description

Pinus densiflora ‘Tamoyosho Compacta’ is a beautiful dwarf cultivar of the Japanese Red Pine known for its compact growth and vibrant, dense foliage. At the 20-40 cm size, this young plant already displays its characteristic bright green needles, which form a tight, rounded shape. As it matures, it maintains a compact, bushy form, making it an excellent choice for small gardens, bonsai, or as an ornamental feature in rock gardens. The orange-red bark typical of Pinus densiflora provides a striking contrast to the green needles, adding visual interest throughout the year.
