Description:

Cephalium: It is characterized by an elevated structure resembling a cap called "cephalium," which develops on the top of the mature cactus. The cephalium produces flowers and fruits.
Spines: The cactus has whitish or yellowish spines, generally curved, which can vary in number and arrangement depending on the plant.
Size: It can reach heights between 10 and 30 centimeters.
Flowers: The flowers are pink or red and bloom from the cephalium.
Fruits: The fruits are usually red and mature from the cephalium.
Cultivation from Seeds:
Seed Collection: Collect seeds from ripe fruits when they are ready to be dispersed. Seeds can be extracted from fruits by cutting them open and gently removing the seeds.
Soil Preparation: Prepare a well-draining and nutrient-rich soil for planting the seeds. A mixture of cactus soil, sand, and perlite may be suitable.
