Product Description

The Linum usitatissimum, commonly known as flax or common flax, is a herbaceous annual plant grown for its fibers and seeds. It produces slender, erect stems that reach up to 1 meter in height, with narrow, lance-shaped leaves. In summer, delicate blue flowers bloom, each with five petals, creating a lovely visual display. After flowering, the plant forms round seed capsules containing small, brown or golden seeds known as flaxseeds. These seeds are highly valued for their nutritional benefits, being rich in omega-3 fatty acids, while the fibers are used to make linen fabric.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the mother plant in the photos is not for sale. This offer includes only the seeds.
