Product Description

Eriosyce rodentiophila is a rare cactus native to the coastal deserts of northern Chile. It features a globular to slightly cylindrical shape, reaching up to 20 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter. The plant has a dark green to brownish body with pronounced ribs and areoles that bear dense clusters of dark brown or black spines. During the blooming season, it produces small, tubular flowers that are typically red to deep pink, emerging from the top of the plant. Eriosyce rodentiophila is adapted to extremely arid conditions and rocky soils.
