Product Description
Eriosyce napina var. riparia, also known as Thelocephala riparia, is a small, geophytic cactus native to the arid regions of northern Chile. This variety often forms multi-headed clusters with globular to slightly flattened bodies that grow partially submerged in the ground. The stems are green to grayish-green and covered with prominent tubercles and short, stout spines that can range from white to dark brown. The funnel-shaped flowers are typically pale pink to white and emerge from the center of each head. Adapted to extremely dry conditions, it thrives in sandy, well-draining soils and requires minimal water.
