Product Description
Eriosyce heinrichiana var. simulans, also known as Pyrrhocactus simulans, is a cactus species native to the arid regions of central Chile. It features a globular to slightly cylindrical shape with a dark green to brownish-green body covered in robust, prominent spines. The plant has well-defined ribs adorned with tubercles, giving it a rugged appearance. The funnel-shaped flowers are typically red to deep pink and bloom at the plant’s apex. After flowering, it produces small, fleshy fruits. This cactus is well adapted to dry, rocky environments and requires well-draining soil to thrive.
