Product Description

The Encephalartos dolomiticus is a rare, slow-growing cycad native to the dolomite-rich regions of South Africa. Its robust, upright trunk can reach up to 2 meters in height and is topped by an elegant crown of stiff, dark green, pinnate leaves with spiny margins. The leaflets are leathery, curved, and feature a slightly bluish hue, enhancing its striking appearance. This endangered species produces large, egg-shaped cones that are either golden yellow or green, depending on gender, as it is dioecious. The Encephalartos dolomiticus thrives in arid, rocky habitats, making it a resilient and unique addition to any collection.
