Product Description

Copiapoa goldii is a rare and attractive cactus native to the coastal areas of northern Chile. It forms solitary, globular to short columnar stems, which can reach up to 20 cm in height and 15 cm in diameter. The stems are light green to bluish-green and covered with a waxy coating. This cactus features 15 to 20 prominent ribs adorned with conical tubercles. The areoles are woolly, producing 6 to 8 stout, dark brown spines. In summer, Copiapoa goldii blooms with bright yellow, funnel-shaped flowers about 2.5 cm in diameter. These flowers are followed by small, reddish fruits containing numerous tiny seeds.
