Copiapoa pendulina

Copiapoa pendulina, also known as the hanging Copiapoa, is a fascinating cactus species endemic to the coastal mountains of northern Chile. This geophyte cactus is characterized by its distinctive, pendulous growth habit, with stems that can reach up to 70 cm in length. The globose to slightly elongated stems are covered in numerous, closely-set tubercles, each bearing a cluster of short, golden-yellow spines.
