Copiapoa hypogaea SS33K
Copiapoa hypogaea SS33K
Product Description
Copiapoa hypogaea is a small, globular cactus native to the coastal desert regions of northern Chile. This species typically forms dense clusters of individual heads, each growing up to 5 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter. The skin is dark green to bluish-green, often covered with a fine layer of white wool that helps protect it from the intense sunlight. The spines are short, straight, and range from white to light brown, densely packed around the areoles. During the summer, Copiapoa hypogaea blooms with small, bright yellow flowers that emerge from the top of the plant, creating a striking contrast with its dark body.
