Copiapoa serpentisulcata CRT9
Copiapoa serpentisulcata CRT9
Product Description
Copiapoa serpentisulcata, a rare cactus from northern Chile's coastal desert regions, is distinguished by its striking, serpent-like ribbing, from which it derives its name. This species typically forms clusters of cylindrical stems that can grow up to 20 cm in height and about 8 cm in diameter. The greenish-grey stems feature deep, wavy sulcations that provide a dramatic texture. The spines are long, curved, and needle-like, mostly yellow or white, serving both as protection and a means to shade the plant from the intense sun. During the flowering season, it produces small, yellow blooms that are quite subtle compared to its dramatic physical form
