Copiapoa humilis 9B
Copiapoa humilis 9B
Product Description
Copiapoa humilis is a small, slow-growing cactus native to the arid coastal deserts of Chile. This species is characterized by its globular shape which can become elongated with age, reaching up to 15 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter. The surface of the cactus is segmented by deep ribs covered with closely spaced areoles that sprout dense, yellowish spines, giving it a textured appearance. The spines provide protection and reduce water loss by shading the cactus. During the summer months, Copiapoa humilis produces bright yellow flowers that crown the top, adding a dash of color to its predominantly green body.
