Product Description

Copiapoa goldii is a rare cactus species native to the coastal desert regions of northern Chile. It typically grows as a solitary, globular plant, reaching up to 15 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter. The cactus has a distinct dark green to almost black skin, which helps it absorb heat in its native cold desert environment. The spines are long, thin, and needle-like, ranging from golden yellow to light brown, giving the plant its name. During the flowering season, Copiapoa goldii produces bright yellow flowers that contrast sharply with its dark body.

Botanical family: Cactaceae
