Copiapoa fiedleriana 16
Copiapoa fiedleriana 16
Product Description
Copiapoa fiedleriana is a diminutive and rare species of cactus found in the coastal desert regions of northern Chile. It grows as a small, solitary globe or short column up to 10 cm in height and 6-8 cm in diameter, making it one of the smaller species within the Copiapoa genus. The skin of the cactus is a striking dark green to almost black, covered in pronounced ribs with densely packed areoles. The spines are short, black, and needle-like, providing a stark contrast to its darker body. Copiapoa fiedleriana blooms in late spring to early summer, producing small, yellow flowers that add a bright splash of color to its somber appearance.
