Copiapoa columna-alba X hypogaea is a hybrid cactus that merges features of Copiapoa columna-alba and Copiapoa hypogaea. This plant typically grows in a columnar to slightly globular shape, reaching up to 20 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter. The skin is a grayish-green to bluish-gray, often covered with a fine, white wool or waxy coating that aids in water conservation. The spines are short, robust, and vary from white to light brown, evenly distributed across the surface. In summer, this hybrid produces bright yellow flowers, offering a vivid contrast to its muted body tones.
