Copiapoa atacamensis X columna-alba is a hybrid cactus that combines features from Copiapoa atacamensis and Copiapoa columna-alba. This hybrid typically grows in a columnar to slightly globular form, reaching up to 30 cm in height and 15 cm in diameter. The skin is a striking grayish-green to bluish-gray, often covered with a fine layer of white wool or a waxy coating to help conserve moisture. The spines are short, sturdy, and range from white to brown, evenly distributed around the areoles. In the summer, this hybrid produces bright yellow flowers, adding a vibrant contrast to its muted, woolly body.
