Product Description

Ariocarpus retusus is a slow-growing, geophytic cactus native to the arid regions of northeastern Mexico. It features a rosette of thick, triangular tubercles that are pale green to greyish-green and can grow up to 25 cm in diameter. The tubercles are arranged in a spiraling pattern, giving the plant a star-like appearance. Unlike most cacti, Ariocarpus retusus lacks prominent spines. In the fall, it produces large, showy flowers that can range in color from white to pink or magenta. This species is highly prized by collectors for its unique morphology and rarity.
