Plant Description

Agave nussaviorum is a striking, medium-sized succulent that forms a rosette of broad, lance-shaped leaves. The leaves are a deep green with occasional pale spots, and they have smooth margins with only a few small teeth and a prominent terminal spine. The plant can grow up to 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide. It is known for its symmetrical, neat rosette shape. When mature, Agave nussaviorum may produce a tall, branched flowering spike adorned with yellow flowers. Like most agaves, it is monocarpic, dying after flowering.
