Plant Description

The Agave bracteosa, often called the Spider Agave or Squid Agave, is a unique, compact succulent known for its graceful, arching leaves. Unlike many agaves, its soft, spineless foliage makes it a friendly choice for gardens and containers. The pale green leaves form a dense, symmetrical rosette that can reach up to 60 cm (2 feet) in diameter. When mature, it produces a slender flower spike up to 1.5 meters (5 feet) tall, adorned with cream-colored blooms. Perfect for xeriscaping, the Agave bracteosa offers both elegance and resilience in arid conditions.
