Agave ferox var. ferox x Agave eborispina is a hybrid succulent that combines the robust characteristics of Agave ferox var. ferox and the unique spiny features of Agave eborispina. This plant forms a large, rosette of broad, fleshy leaves that can grow up to 1.5 meters in diameter. The leaves are dark green to blue-green, with prominent, undulating margins, and are edged with large, sharp, dark spines that provide a striking appearance. The hybrid inherits the size and hardiness of A. ferox var. ferox and the ornamental spines of A. eborispina. Over many years, it may produce a tall flower spike with greenish-yellow flowers, but like most agaves, it is monocarpic, meaning it dies after flowering.
