Plant Description

Dianthus chinensis var. lacinatus ‘Dancing Geisha’ is a stunning cultivar of the Chinese Pink that captivates with its deeply fringed, delicate petals and vibrant colors. The flowers are a mix of pink, red, white, and lavender shades, each bloom resembling the intricate layers of a traditional geisha’s kimono. The petals are heavily lacinated or fringed, giving the flowers a ruffled, almost feathered appearance. ‘Dancing Geisha’ is a compact, bushy plant with gray-green foliage that provides a beautiful backdrop to the vivid flowers. Blooming from late spring through summer, this Dianthus adds a touch of elegance and whimsy to garden borders, rock gardens, and containers.
