Agave ovatifolia x Agave celsii 75N-CEL

Agave ovatifolia x Agave celsii is a hybrid succulent combining the traits of Agave ovatifolia and Agave celsii. This hybrid forms a medium to large rosette of broad, fleshy leaves that can grow up to 1 meter in diameter. The leaves are blue-green to gray-green, with smooth or slightly undulating margins, and edged with small, sharp, dark spines. The plant inherits the impressive size and cold tolerance of A. ovatifolia and the graceful form of A. celsii. After many years, it may produce a tall flower spike with yellow to greenish flowers, but like most agaves, it is monocarpic and dies after flowering.
